The Opportunity
You’ll be the driving force behind technical sales activity managing enquiries, building relationships and taking projects from concept through to delivery with full support from a highly capable internal technical and design team. The role sits at the heart of the business and would suit someone who enjoys solving technical problems, engaging with clients and shaping bespoke engineered solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage projects from initial enquiry through to completion
- Generate quotations, price complex solutions and close opportunities
- Work closely with technical design and field sales teams
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting to clients
- Build long-term relationships across UK water companies and contractors
- Identify new markets, trends and commercial opportunities
- Support the growth and capability of the internal sales function
What We Are Looking For
- Technical sales experience in water, wastewater, tanks, geomembranes, utilities or environmental engineering
- Strong ability to understand engineered solutions and translate them into commercial proposals
- Confident managing multiple projects with technical input
- Excellent planning, organisation and communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to work collaboratively across teams
- Degree in engineering or relevant experience (preferred)
- Full UK driving licence
