Think you know what machine failure costs? Good. Now come and help prevent it.

This business has spent over 40 years perfecting the science of knowing: before a bearing fails, before a motor trips, before an unplanned shutdown costs a plant hundreds of thousands of pounds. Their patented condition monitoring technology is trusted across the world\’s most demanding industries: oil and gas, mining, marine, pulp and paper, power generation, food and beverage, iron and steel.

They are not a reseller. They are not a distributor. They design, develop and manufacture everything from wireless sensors and portable instruments to online monitoring systems and the software that ties it all together. That\’s a very different conversation to have with a customer.

We need someone who can have it.

The Role

Business Development Manager to cover the UK and Ireland. This is a field-based role. You will be visiting customer sites, building real relationships with maintenance engineers, reliability managers and procurement teams, and matching them to the right solution from the product portfolio. That portfolio includes:

  • Portable instruments for sophisticated condition monitoring, including ATEX-certified variants for hazardous zones
  • Permanently installed online systems for continuous machine surveillance
  • Wireless vibration sensors for remote monitoring in hard-to-reach or explosive environments
  • Diagnostic and analysis software, the brain of the entire system
  • Precision laser shaft alignment tools for corrective maintenance
  • A full range of transducers, transmitters, sensors and cabling

You\’re not selling a box. You\’re selling a reliability strategy. The candidate who gets this will thrive. The one who doesn\’t will struggle.

Who We\’re Looking For

  • Proven technical sales experience – actual pipeline built, actual deals closed
  • A recognised mechanical qualification. You need technical knowledge to have credible conversations about protecting machinery
  • A genuine understanding of electromechanical machinery – compressors, pumps, fans, motors, gearboxes
  • A full UK driving licence you\’ll rack up the miles across a demanding territory
  • Computer literacy across CRM, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and the discipline to keep records that mean something

And the things that will make you stand out but not prerequisites:

  • Mobius/BINDT ISO18436 Cat I certification it means you speak the same language as your customers
  • Hands-on condition monitoring experience, ideally from the maintenance or reliability engineering side
  • Familiarity with predictive maintenance strategies and asset management in industrial environments
  • Experience of selling in Ireland

What\’s On Offer

We back the people who back themselves. Here\’s what comes with the role:

  • Company vehicle because the territory doesn\’t cover itself
  • Private healthcare and company pension
  • Laptop and phone
  • Annual performance payment because results deserve recognition
  • Training and development including access to the Company Academy
  • The weight of a globally recognised brand with 50 years of proven technology behind every conversation you have

Still here?

Then you\’re probably worth talking to.

Don\’t just attach your CV – tell us what you\’ve sold, where you\’ve sold it, and why you think you can open doors for the world\’s most advanced condition monitoring technology in one of the most technically demanding territories in the UK.

The machines your customers rely on don\’t get second chances. Neither does a missed sales window.
