We're currently seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team for a site-based project in the Midlands. This is a short-term contract offering consistent work and a highly competitive pay structure.

The primary focus of this project is the installation of electrical containment systems and associated works. This is a fully site-based role where you will be responsible for ensuring all infrastructure is installed to precise specifications within a live project environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Containment Installation: Expertly installing cable tray, ladder rack, trunking, and conduit (both plastic and galvanized) to house substation cabling.
  • Technical Compliance: Working accurately from technical drawings to ensure all containment routes meet project designs.
  • Safety & Quality: Maintaining high safety standards and ensuring all installations are neat, secure, and compliant with site health and safety regulations.
Project Details & Pay:
  • Duration: Circa 4 weeks.
  • Location: Site-based (Midlands).
  • Standard Rate: £24.00 per hour (First 38 hours).
  • Overtime Rate: £36.00 per hour (x1.5 after 38 hours).
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in industrial or commercial electrical installation.
  • Strong background in heavy-duty containment and metalwork.
  • Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition).
  • Valid ECS/JIB card is essential for site access.
