This is not a keep-the-lights-on role. It's a build, scale, influence and make-your-mark role. If you're looking for comfort, this isn't it. If you're looking for impact, influence and a platform to build something meaningful, let's talk.

This business is growing fast, and the commercial engine of the business will be pivotal to that growth. That's where you come in.

As Contracts Manager, you'll take ownership of the heartbeat of the organisation: customer service, projects, pricing discipline, margin, systems, and data. You'll shape how commercial decisions are made, how teams perform, and how customers experience the business as it scales.

If you like challenge, complexity, and the chance to genuinely influence how a business runs, read on.

Why this role will stretch you

  • You’ll be trusted with real influence. This role sits at the centre of the business, working closely with the Finance & Commercial Director and partnering across Sales, Supply Chain, Technical and Finance. Your insight will shape decisions, not just report on them.
  • You’ll lead teams that matter. You’ll own and develop Customer Service and Projects - coaching managers, building capability, and setting a culture of accountability, empowerment and data-driven thinking. You will turn complexity into advantage.
  • From pricing and margin improvement to large project governance, you’ll bring structure, discipline and commercial rigour where it counts.
  • You’ll drive systems, not fight them. You’ll optimise how the ERP and CRM are managed, and use that to improve data integrity and reporting, and help build capability that actually supports growth and customer excellence.
  • You’ll leave things better than you found them. Continuous improvement isn’t a slogan here. It’s expected. Processes, performance, customer experience - all fair game.

What you’ll actually be doing

  • Leading and developing high-impact commercial teams
  • Driving margin improvement, pricing discipline and operational efficiency
  • Owning commercial performance metrics and turning insight into action
  • Overseeing complex quotations, tenders and strategic projects
  • Embedding smarter use of ERP and CRM systems
  • Acting as the commercial voice in cross-functional decision making

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys both strategy and execution.

Who this will suit

You’re already operating in a commercial, sales or operational role with a significant degree of responsibility and want a role with more scope, more influence and more challenge.

You’re likely to have:

  • Strong commercial instincts and a sharp analytical mind
  • Proven experience leading multi-functional teams in a manufacturing environment
  • Confidence working with ERP systems (NetSuite experience is a big plus)
  • A track record of improving processes, performance and profitability
  • The ability to zoom out strategically and dive in when needed

You don’t need everything perfectly polished. You do need curiosity, drive, and the confidence to challenge the status quo.

The payoff

  • A pivotal role in a growing, ambitious business
  • Clear visibility and influence at senior leadership level
  • Real opportunity to shape systems, teams and outcomes
  • Stretch, autonomy and room to grow as the business grows
