We’re recruiting an exciting opportunity for a leading manufacturing business who have been growing year-on-year, with continued growth plans into Europe. Take charge of improving health and safety across the business—not just by meeting regulations, but by promoting a strong safety culture. You\’ll lead audits, train teams, manage compliance, and ensure the site meets standards for quality, environmental impact, and ESG performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Seeking methods to implement and improve company H&S procedures, ensuring compliance with ISO and ESG
- Complete COSHH risk assessments and identify areas for improvement
- Train various teams on compliance and H&S procedures, gaining commitment and putting into practice
- Stay up to date with regulations by actively reviewing guidelines and legislation and ensure company are up to date with any changes
- Ensure the site is always in an ‘audit ready’ state
- Promote a strong safety culture across the site
Key Requirements
- NEBOSH certification
- Knowledge of COSHH risk assessments – Hazardous substances
- Experience implanting H&S procedures in a manufacturing environment (chemicals would be a distinct advantage)
- Strong understanding of safe working practices
