I am currently supporting a leading manufacturer of complex and high precision components to the Aerospace sector.
As s Quality Assurance Engineer, you will support in areas of QMS compliance, as well as being responsible for leading audits with leading Aerospace OEMβs. You will report directly in the Quality Manager, and will ensure the organisation complies to industry standards.
You will join a well established QMS Team, and you will act a senior within the team, whilst you will have no direct line management responsibilities, you will support and mentor more junior members within the team.
Role and responsibilities:
* You will support internal areas of QMS – AS9100
* Maintain documentation for procedures, regulatory standards and ensure specifications are adhered to across QMS
* Lead internal and external audits β ensuring strong stakeholder management
* Lead and perform structured Root Cause & Corrective Action activities
What weβre looking for:
* Background maintaining Quality/QMS
* Ideally have come from the Aerospace industry
* Strong knowledge of AS9100 and ISO9001
* Demonstrative background as an internal auditor β running internal and external audits
* Certified Lead Auditor is preferred
