We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician and MOT tester to join our team at our independent service centre.

The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for automotive work and a strong mechanical aptitude to develop their skills within a professional environment.

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues
  • Perform repairs and maintenance tasks including engine diagnostics, brake repairs, and suspension work
  • Use hand tools and power tools to carry out repairs efficiently and accurately
  • Replace faulty parts with precision and ensure all work meets safety standards
  • Test vehicles post-repair to confirm proper functioning
  • Maintain detailed records of all services performed
  • Assist with vehicle diagnostics using specialised equipment
  • Ensure the workshop remains clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations
