  • Keep track of portfolio spending.
  • Co-ordinate and help with complex deal booking of tailored contracts in the risk system (Endur).

  • Keep abreast of portfolio events to be able to effectively communicate them to internal stakeholders.
  • Run and monitor daily carbon portfolio valuation.

To be successful in this role you will need to
  • Have a good grasp of deal lifecycle and the operational processes involved.
  • Have an understanding of how a deal is valued and risks associated with forward deals.
  • Have a basic understanding of and/or be keen to learn in depth about carbon offsets and the carbon credit markets.
  • Have strong technical aptitude: strong excel skills needed (VBA, SQL an advantage).
  • Be a team-oriented individual who can collaborate across departments and different seniority levels but also work independently on critical tasks.
  • Strive to and be pro-active about improving processes and tools to gain efficiencies and reduce risks.
Requirements
  • Technical & Analytical Expertise: Advanced Excel skills.
  • Understanding portfolio valuation and risks.
  • Operational Skills: Knowledge of inventory, delivery and settlement processes.
  • Reporting & Communication Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to synthesize financial and operational data for stakeholder communication.
