As a 12-month placement student in our Risk team, you’ll be immersed in the core of our trading operations, gaining practical experience in a fast-paced commodity trading environment. You’ll receive training in market risk analysis, position management, and P&L reporting, with exposure to both physical commodities and options trading strategies. This placement will challenge you to develop analytical models, contribute to ad-hoc projects and process improvements, and play a key role in enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of our Middle Office activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with experienced Risk, Middle Office, and technical teams to enhance our reporting capabilities.
  • Develop and refine risk models, including VaR and Stress Tests.
  • Receive comprehensive training in market analysis and risk reporting.
  • Apply your strong development skills to contribute to the advancement of our risk models.
  • Play a pivotal role in improving our Risk models and developing our current Risk Framework.
