Overview
Kentix develops and sells innovative IoT solutions for the physical security of IT and infrastructure systems, combining sensors, software, and cloud technology to protect against physical threats. Kentix is seeking its first UK-based Business Development Manager to consolidate existing relationships and drive market penetration.
Your Responsibilities
- Advise customers on Kentix's solutions for physical security of data centres, including SmartAccess and SmartMonitoring.
- Offer IoT-based solutions that combine sensors, software and cloud technology; conduct training sessions and webinars.
- Build and maintain a network with system integrators, planners, and professional end customers.
- Use market insight to actively drive the positioning of innovative products and services.
- Collaborate with colleagues from inside sales, technical support, and product management.
- Implement sales-promoting measures and conduct product training sessions.
What you Bring
- A passion for sales and the ability to excite customers about solutions.
- Deep understanding of the data centre value chain and knowledge of relevant certifications.
- Professional experience and networks in B2B sales, preferably in IT, data centres or IT-infrastructure.
- A commercial or technical education or degree with experience in data center facility / infrastructure management.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work independently and in a structured manner.
- Willingness to work from a home office and travel within the country, predominantly in London / South East.
