The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

Surveying sites where electrical systems are installed.

Installing, maintaining, modifying and repairing all electrical systems in public spaces and buildings.

Ensuring that electrical systems adhere to the national electrical safety standards and regulations.

Supervising ongoing electrical system installations and providing technical expertise to installation teams where needed.

Identifying electrical problems and repairing them.

Advising the company’s management when to replace aged electrical equipment to prevent hazards.

Conducting general electrical systems maintenance and troubleshooting electrical issues with testing equipment.

Install, maintain and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.

Perform general electrical maintenance.

Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components.

Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.

Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.

Good knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems.

Good knowledge of various test equipment.

Experience working as an electrician.

Deep electrical system, power generation, blueprints and maintenance and repair knowledge.

Experience in renewable energy field.

Qualifications:

  • One main trade qualification (or time served trades experience) e.g. NVQ 2, NVQ 3.
  • Experience in testing, inspection, and maintenance of electrical installations.
  • An appropriate knowledge of health and safety legislation.
  • Have current Health & Safety Training certificates (including, but not limited to, Asbestos Awareness, Working at Height, Manual Handling, Risk Assessments).
  • Extensive domestic electrical experience (preferably from a social housing environment).
  • Demonstrate a high level of customer care.
  • 2-3 years residential, commercial or industrial electrical experience.
  • Experience with new builds, renovations and historical restoration projects.
  • Associate’s degree in electrical technology preferred.
  • High school diploma or GCSE.
