We are looking to recruit a highly motivated and experienced Food and Beverage Manager who is professional with high standards, along with an excellent knowledge of food and beverage. As Food and Beverage Manager you will support the Deputy General Manager in all day‑to‑day operations, ensuring the smooth running of this hotel, with a very strong focus on food and beverage operations. Responsible for departmental costs, stock control, this is a 'hands‑on' role which requires the applicant to be focused on excellent customer care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all functions, weddings and events are run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Cover Duty Manager shifts, including breakfast, depending on business requirements.
  • Provide a friendly, courteous and professional service at all times.
  • Manage and provide direction to all Food and Beverage employees during shifts.
  • Ensure each customer receives impeccable service.
  • Contribute to the creation of new food and drink offerings.
  • Delegate tasks and check their execution.
  • Ensure a highly customer‑focused environment, by building a focused team in all areas of the hotel.
  • Possess depth beverage knowledge such as wines, cocktails and spirits.
  • Supervise the set up and breakdown of the outlets and meeting event spaces.
  • Undertake monthly stock takes and oversee and order stock.
  • Responsible for H&S, FSA requirements, allergy laws and hygiene ratings.

  • Lead, mentor and train the Food & Beverage Operations team.
  • Ensure Food & Beverage relevant brand standards are maintained.
  • Strategise on new products and service offerings.
  • Create unforgettable experiences for our guests.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a similar MICE‑lead hotel property, upward of three star.
  • Strong food and beverage management background.
  • Very high level of personal presentation.
  • Excellent customer focus with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with guests & staff.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire the team to exceed customer expectations.
