Mercure Bridgwater is a stylish 4-star hotel in the heart of the town centre, featuring 119 contemporary bedrooms. Home to the renowned Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill, the hotel serves breakfast, lunch and dinner to the highest standards.

We’re looking for a hardworking and reliable Kitchen Porter to join our busy team within the Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill at the Mercure Bridgwater Hotel. This role should not be underestimated and is physically challenging. Working closely with our talented kitchen team, you’ll play a vital part in ensuring the smooth running of both the front and back of house food operations.

You’ll be responsible for maintaining impeccable cleanliness and organisation in all kitchen areas, working to strict food safety standards and ensuring equipment is cleaned and ready for service. Your duties will also include receiving, checking, and storing deliveries for all hotel departments. Over time, there may be opportunities to support with basic food preparation — full training and supervision will be provided if interest is shown.
