We are searching for an engaging and resourceful M&E Coordinator to join our team. Our M&E Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of various events hosted at the hotel. This individual must display exceptional verbal communication skills and a keen attention to detail.
Duties include assisting with the planning and execution of events, coordinating with vendors and ensuring that all guest needs are met during the run up to their event. Successful candidates will have strong multitasking skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Objectives of this role- Plan, coordinate and execute meetings, conferences, weddings and special events
- Work closely with clients to understand event needs and provide tailored solutions
- Address any last-minute changes or challenges with professionalism
- Maintain strong client relationships and seek opportunities for repeat business
- Experience in event planning, hospitality, or a similar role
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
- Knowledge of event management software is a plus
- Hospitality work experience
- Knowledge of event planning processes and best practices
This is a part time role of 20 hours - ideally worked over a minimum of 4 days a week. Some weekends and occasional evenings will be required.
