About the Role
We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic and experienced Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team at Mercure Haydock Hotel. As Chef de Partie, you will take responsibility for your section of the kitchen, preparing and presenting high-quality dishes while maintaining excellent standards of food safety, hygiene and presentation. Working in a busy hotel environment, you will support a variety of services including restaurant dining, weddings, conferences, events and functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook and present dishes to a consistently high standard.
- Take ownership of your section and ensure it is fully prepared for service.
- Maintain excellent food quality, presentation and portion control.
- Support the Sous Chef and Head Chef with the smooth running of the kitchen.
- Assist and support junior members of the kitchen team.
- Ensure all food hygiene, allergen, HACCP and health standards are met.
