Summary
We are recruiting an engaging and detail-orientated professional to join our Front Office Team.
Our Hotel Receptionists act as the face of the hotel and must display exceptional verbal communication skills.
Primarily the role consists of greeting guests, informing them with accurate details about their reservations, and maintaining the property management system.
Alongside this, the role also requires the managing of guest communications e. g. shared email inbox, liaising with other departments, and making reservations.
We are a team based department, where communication and collaboration is key.
Successful candidates will have strong multitasking and problem solving skills, flourishing in a fast-paced, people-facing environment.
Responsibilities
- Follow check-in and check-out procedures for hotel guests
- Answer guest queries via email, phone, and in person
- Take payment and provide invoices when requested
- Arrival checks to ensure guest requirements are met
- Upsell hotel packages when appropriate
- Listen and record feedback when appropriate
- Liaise with Housekeeping and Maintenance department when required
- Assist other departments when appropriate
