Role Overview
We are searching for an engaging and resourceful M&E Operations Manager to join our team. The M&E Operations Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of various events hosted at the hotel. This individual must display exceptional verbal communication skills and a keen attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the planning and execution of events, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring all guest needs are met during the event.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of all meetings and events within the hotel, leading the M&E team to execute events flawlessly and to the highest standards.
- Oversee the setup, execution, and breakdown of all meetings and events within the hotel.
- Lead and manage the M&E operations team, ensuring high levels of service and team engagement.
- Work closely with the Sales and Events teams to ensure event requirements are understood and met.
- Ensure all event spaces are prepared and presented to the highest standard.
- Manage staffing levels in accordance with event requirements and budgetary guidelines.
- Maintain health & safety, food hygiene, and operational standards across all event activities.
- Monitor and respond to client feedback to continuously improve service quality.
- Liaise with suppliers and contractors to support event execution.
- Maintain inventory and manage ordering of necessary event equipment and supplies.
- Conduct regular training and development sessions for the M&E team to uphold service excellence.
- Run dinners, conferences, and weddings, including rota and training arrangements.
