We are seeking a hardworking and dependable Public Area Cleaner to join our housekeeping team. As a vital member of our hotel team, the Public Area Cleaner will ensure the cleanliness and smooth operation of the hotel public areas front of house and back of house.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Clean and maintain all public areas including lobbies, corridors, restrooms, and lounges.
- Ensure all surfaces are dusted, vacuumed, mopped, and sanitized regularly.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Replenish supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
- Follow daily cleaning schedules and checklists.
- Assist with deep cleaning projects as required.
- Deliver excellent customer service to guests, addressing any requests or concerns politely and professionally.
