Objectives of this role
- Act as the face of the hotel engaging with guests while providing exceptional service
- Prepare and serve drinks, ensuring that all guest orders are fulfilled in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Monitor inventory levels and restock supplies as necessary
- Promote a positive and polite work environment
- Create a five-star customer experience for every guest
Responsibilities
- Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and guest preferences
- Interact with guests, taking orders and answering any questions about the drink menu
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including cleaning glasses and equipment
- Ensure compliance with all food and beverage regulations
- Upsell drink specials and hotel packages when appropriate
- Communicate effectively with hotel staff to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Track and manage bar inventory and supplies
- Handle guest concerns and complaints professionally
