Position: Legal Expert — Transactional / Corporate (Remote, Hourly)
Type: Contract
Compensation: $85–$120/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 20–40 hours/week
Role Responsibilities:
- Design realistic deal scenarios from transactional practice such as M&A due diligence, SPAs/APAs, and securities filings.
- Write "golden" reference responses at attorney-level quality.
- Grade AI-generated responses using structured rubrics.
- Provide written feedback to improve model behaviour.
- Participate in onboarding office hours and specialty calibration sessions.
Qualifications
Must-Have:
- 1–4 years of professional experience in transactional or corporate law.
- J.D. (U.S./Canada) or LL.B./LL.M. (U.K.) from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in the U.S., Canada, or U.K. (active or inactive).
- Strong experience in contract review, due diligence, corporate governance, NDA drafting, or securities filings.
- Excellent written communication skills with high attention to detail.
Preferred:
- Experience with disclosure schedules or closing checklists.
- Exposure to private equity, venture capital, or fund formation.
- Experience with SEC reporting or securities offerings.
- Familiarity with virtual data rooms like Intralinks or Datasite.
