We’re looking for a skilled Audio Editor who can make every video sound as good as it looks. You’ll be responsible for crafting clean, dynamic, and emotionally engaging sound — from mixing dialogue and music to adding the perfect sound effects and transitions.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit and mix dialogue, sound effects, and music for short and long-form video content.
- Clean up raw audio (remove background noise, EQ voices, balance levels).
- Sync sound precisely with visuals and transitions for maximum impact.
- Add SFX and ambient layers to enhance storytelling and realism.
- Collaborate with video editors and producers to ensure cohesive sound design.
- Maintain consistent loudness, tone, and quality across all content formats.
Ideal Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in audio editing, mixing, or sound design.
- Degree in Audio Engineering, Music Production, Film/Media Production or similar preferred.
- Proficiency with Adobe Audition, Pro Tools, DaVinci Resolve Fairlight, or similar DAWs.
- A strong ear for detail, pacing, and emotion in sound.
- Understanding of music licensing, sound libraries, and audio effects.
- Bonus: experience designing audio for short-form, social, or branded content.

- Remote and asynchronous - control your own schedule.
- Expected commitment: project-based, 20 to 50 hours per week.
