Position: Film and Video Editor
Type: Independent Contractor
Compensation: $60–$100/hour
Location: US, UK, or Canada
Duration: Short term sprint
Commitment: High numbers of hours available
Role Responsibilities
- Design questions related to the occupation of a Film and Video Editor.
- Work independently and asynchronously around your schedule.
- Ensure access to a desktop or laptop computer (Chromebooks not supported).
- Collaborate with AI research teams to improve project outcomes.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- 4+ years full-time work experience as a Film and Video Editor.
- Be based in the US, UK, or Canada.
Compensation & Legal
- We can meet industry-standard compensation expectations for your current role.
- Paid weekly via Stripe Connect based on logged project work hours.
- Classified as an “at-will” contractor to Mercor.
- Cannot currently support H1-B or STEM OPT status candidates.
