Senior Investment Analyst

Role Overview
- Position: Corporate Development Expert – Contract, Remote
- Commitment: 10 hours per week, Duration: Minimum four weeks
- Drive corporate development initiatives for a foundational model AI lab. Contribute to strategic research projects with potential for future opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate financial models and analyze market sizing/TAM to support AI research projects.
- Develop investment summaries and memos to guide strategic decisions.
- Collaborate with AI research teams to align corporate strategies with AI advancements.
- Work independently and asynchronously to meet project deadlines and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Provide insights and recommendations to enhance corporate development processes.
Requirements / Qualifications
Must-Have Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in corporate development
- Experience in financial modeling, market sizing/TAM analysis, or investment/analysis summaries and memos
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AI research projects or technology-driven initiatives
Engagement Details
- $100/hour compensation
- Fully asynchronous work schedule
- Minimum engagement of four weeks, starting in October
- Classified as an “at-will” contractor to Mercor
- Payment via Stripe Connect based on logged hours
