We are looking for a Radiologist to write, review, and validate prompt-based questions designed to train AI.
Your expertise in medical imaging interpretation, radiologic reporting, pattern recognition, and diagnostic decision-making will ensure each prompt and response is clinically accurate, appropriately reasoned, and aligned with imaging best practices. We welcome board-certified radiologists from a range of subspecialties—diagnostic, interventional, neuroradiology, musculoskeletal, and more—to help build training materials that simulate real-world radiologic analysis. You’ll have the opportunity to shape how AI learns to interpret imaging findings and communicate diagnostic logic.
You are a good fit if you:
- Have over 3+ years of clinical experience interpreting medical images in a healthcare setting.
- Have a M.D. or D.O. degree and are board certified in radiology.
- Are currently based in the United States, United Kingdom, or Canada
- Have a strong background in reading and reporting on X-rays, CT, MRI, writing radiology reports with standard language, pattern recognition and differential diagnosis
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Have strong attention to details
Preferred Qualification
- Subspecialty fellowship training is preferred.
- Experience with structured reporting platforms, tele radiology is highly encouraged.
Role Highlights
- Flexible workload: 10–20 hours per week, with potential to increase to 40 hours.
- Fully remote and asynchronous—work on your own schedule.
- Minimum duration: 1–2 months, with potential for extension.
Role Start Date
- This role will begin in mid-July with applications reviewed on a rolling basis.
Interview Process
- You will take an AI interview where you will be asked questions about your background in radiologic interpretation and imaging workflow.
- You will share your screen and write a detailed prompt to generate an AI response about a diagnostic imaging topic.
- You will evaluate and compare LLM outputs to determine which response is more effective and accurate.
- Applicants will be selected based on their performance in the AI interview and on the accuracy and quality of their evaluations.
Compensation and Legal Details
- You will be legally classified as an hourly contractor for Mercor
- We will pay you out at the end of each week via Stripe Connect
