Position: Physics Expert

Type: Independent Contractor

Compensation: $90–$150/hour

Location: Remote

Duration: 5–6 weeks

Commitment: Flexible, project-based

Role Responsibilities

• Solve and evaluate challenging physics problems across diverse fields to enhance AI model reasoning.
• Review AI-generated proofs and solutions for correctness and rigor, ensuring high-quality outputs.
• Provide structured feedback to improve mathematical reasoning models and identify gaps in writing.
• Collaborate with AI research teams to refine model evaluation techniques and benchmarks.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model performance.

Qualifications

• PhD in Physics (not applied physics or engineering)
• Graduated from a top 30 physics program in the US, UK, or Canada
• Strong background in advanced problem-solving with the ability to articulate reasoning and reference theorems

Preferred

• Ideally active in research/academia
