Position: Chemistry PhD
Type: Contractor
Compensation: $65–$75/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 15–20 hours/week
Role Responsibilities:
- Collaborate asynchronously with a team of highly qualified experts in Chemistry.
- Craft, solve, and review challenging problems with real-world applicability.
- Shape the future of AI innovation by contributing domain expertise.
- Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines.
- Elevate the quality of AI model training through expert feedback.
Qualifications Must-Have:
- Master's or PhD in Chemistry from a top US university.
- Experience coding in Python and R.
- Field-specific experience in Quantum Chemistry or Computational Chemistry.
- High attention to detail.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent proficiency in English.
- Based in the U.S., Canada, New Zealand, UK, or Australia.
Start Date: Late December; applications reviewed on a rolling basis.

- Paid for up to 1 hour of onboarding time including the screening process and onboarding videos if hired.
Compensation & Legal:
- Legally classified as an hourly contractor for Mercor.
