Overview

Mercor is recruiting Medical Transcriptionists who work in the health care and social assistance sector as independent contractors on a research project for one of the world’s top AI companies. This project involves using your professional experience to design questions related to your occupation as a Medical Transcriptionist.

Base pay range

$40.00/hr – $75.00/hr

Responsibilities

• Design questions related to your occupation as a Medical Transcriptionist for a research project.
• Work is fully asynchronous and can be done around your schedule.

Qualifications

• 4+ years full-time work experience as a Medical Transcriptionist.
• Based in the US, UK, or Canada.

Additional details

• We aim to make the hourly compensation rate offered to you competitive based on your professional background and geographic location (note that the listed hourly compensation scale is for U.S.-based applicants and will differ by geographic location).
• The project requires a minimum commitment of 15 hours per week.
• The work will last approximately 3-4 weeks after you begin.
• You will need access to a desktop or laptop computer; Chromebooks are not accepted.

Pay and legal status

• Weekly payouts via Stripe Connect based on logged project hours.
• You will be classified as an at-will contractor to Mercor.
• We cannot currently support H1-B or STEM OPT status candidates.
