Position: Mechanical Engineer
Type: Contractor
Compensation: $75β$150/hour
Location: Remote
Duration: 3β4 weeks
Commitment: 15+ hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Design questions related to Mechanical Engineering for a leading AI company.
- Evaluate the accuracy and depth of AI-generated content in Mechanical Engineering to strengthen model outputs.
- Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model performance.
- Collaborate with AI research teams to ensure consistency and relevance across datasets.
- Provide structured feedback to improve training data quality and downstream performance.
Qualifications Must-Have
- 4+ years full-time work experience as a Mechanical Engineer.
- Be based in the US, UK, or Canada.
- Access to a desktop or laptop computer (no Chromebooks).
Compensation & Legal
At-will contractor to Mercor. Paid weekly via Stripe Connect based on logged hours. Cannot support H1-B or STEM OPT status candidates.
