Position: Product & UX Design Expert

Type: Contract

Compensation: $85–$115/hour

Location: Remote

Role Responsibilities

  • Build long-horizon product design tasks with deterministic rubrics for agent performance evaluation.
  • Create scenarios covering flow completeness, design system fidelity, and spec handoff.
  • Develop user flows including states like empty, loading, error, permissions, and success.
  • Ensure design components and tokens are reused from a defined system.
  • Annotate specs with accessibility notes and measurable copy constraints.
  • Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines and improve task quality.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years as a product or UX designer at a SaaS or consumer product company.
  • Portfolio with shipped flows.
  • Expertise in Figma, design-system development, WCAG, accessibility, prototyping, spec annotation, and handoff.
  • Comfortable with product design artifacts: flows, mocks, specs, design system audits.
  • Clear written communication to articulate reasoning and encode it into deterministic rubrics.

Compensation & Legal

Hourly contractor. Strong contributors promoted based on task quality and throughput.
