Position: Software Engineer
Type: Contract
Compensation: $40–$50/hour
Role Responsibilities:
- Develop MCP servers using Python and FastMCP to enhance the RL Studio platform.
- Integrate web or desktop applications into RL Studio for seamless operation.
- Work with APIs, Docker, and Linux environments to ensure robust service configuration.
- Implement hooks for app state management to maintain app stability and testability.
- Test applications locally and debug build, runtime, and permission issues to meet platform standards.
- Ensure apps comply with platform validation and deployment requirements for production readiness.
Qualifications:
Must-Have:
- Strong Python skills.
- Experience with APIs, backend systems, and debugging.
- Familiarity with Docker, Linux, and local testing workflows.
- Ability to work with configuration files and deployment pipelines.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to technical detail.
Preferred:
- Experience with FastMCP or similar frameworks.
