Position: Actuarial & Pricing Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $115–$150/hour
Location: Remote
Role Responsibilities
- Develop long-horizon actuarial tasks with deterministic rubrics for agent performance evaluation.
- Create scenarios for Reserving using methods like chain-ladder and Bornhuetter-Ferguson.
- Design Pricing and rate indications tasks with defined target loss ratios and experience rating factors.
- Analyze Filings and treaties including rate filings and reinsurance treaty computations.
- Work independently and asynchronously to deliver high-quality, verifiable tasks.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- 3+ years in P&C or life actuarial work at a carrier, consultancy, or reinsurer.
- Expertise in loss reserving, rate indications, IBNR methodology, and actuarial tools like Arius, ResQ, Igloo, R, or Python.
- Strong written communication skills for articulating reasoning and creating deterministic rubrics.
Preferred
- ASA, FSA, ACAS, or FCAS exam progress or full designation.
Compensation & Legal
