Position: Artifact Expert — Software Engineering
Type: Contract
Compensation: $80–$120/hour
Location: Remote
Role Responsibilities
- Review existing engineering slides, design docs, and sheets.
- Provide detailed, constructive feedback.
- Create original technical artifacts such as architecture decks, RFCs, post-mortems, and data analyses.
- Annotate and commentate on artifacts to improve structure, content, and presentation.
- Apply software-engineering expertise to ensure artifacts reflect realistic, high-quality professional output.
- Work independently and asynchronously to deliver consistent, high-quality work on a flexible schedule.
Qualifications Must-Have
- 4+ years of professional experience as a software engineer (backend, full-stack, ML, infrastructure, mobile, or similar).
- Comfortable producing technical writing and technical slide decks.
- Strong attention to detail and written communication.
- Self-directed; can deliver consistent, high-quality work on a flexible schedule.
