Position: Physics Chart Analysis Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $72–$80/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 20 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Author and review technical tasks to evaluate AI model performance on physics problems.
- Produce original problem sets using experimental data plots, phase diagrams, spectra, and field diagrams.
- Write reference solutions and apply structured quality checks to ensure accuracy.
- Annotate tasks to improve AI model outputs and enhance training data quality.
- Work independently and asynchronously with a flexible schedule to meet deadlines.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- PhD in Physics, MS in Physics with 3+ years research or teaching experience, or BS in Physics with 5+ years tutoring, lab work, or applied physics practice.
- Working fluency in at least two of: classical mechanics, E&M, quantum, thermodynamics, optics, experimental methods.
- Comfortable interpreting experimental data plots, phase diagrams, spectra, and field diagrams.
- Clear technical writing; able to articulate reasoning step-by-step in written form.
