Position: Corporate Development / Strategic Finance Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $100–$135/hour
Location: Remote
Role Responsibilities
- Build long-horizon transaction and strategy tasks for corporate finance evaluations.
- Develop deterministic rubrics for grading agent performance against verifiable ground truth.
- Create scenarios for M&A analysis with defined metrics and valuation ranges.
- Construct diligence tasks with synergy build-ups and CIM extractions.
- Design capital allocation scenarios with specified IRRs, NPVs, and payback outputs.
- Work independently on challenging tasks requiring long sessions of focus.
Qualifications Must-Have
- BS or MS in Finance, Economics, or related
- 3+ years in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or strategic finance
- Expertise in LBO/merger modeling, DCF valuation, comps and precedent analysis, synergy analysis, IC memo drafting
- Comfortable with transaction artifacts: models, teasers, CIMs, IC/board memos
- Clear written communication; articulate reasoning step by step
