Overview
Legal Professional – Contract, Remote (Mercor). This role is a remote, part-time contract position with a commitment of 20 hours per week for 2 months.
Base pay range: $90.00/hr – $110.00/hr
This role involves training AI models in the legal domain with a focus on Japanese language and legal practices.
Responsibilities
- Translate and synthesize complex legal practices in Japan, requiring localized interpretation.
- Write fluently in both Japanese and English, ensuring precise legal terminology.
- Provide cultural insights specific to the Japanese legal system.
- Collaborate with reviewers and peers to refine content and validate accuracy.
Qualifications
- Must-Have: Native-level fluency in Japanese with strong written and spoken English.
- Advanced degree in Law.
- 2–6+ years of practicing law in Japan.
- Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with assessment and rubric development.
- Familiarity with generative AI models or machine learning concepts.
