Role Overview
- Position: Hindi Language Specialist β Short-Term Contract, Remote
- Commitment: 20 hours per week for 2 weeks
- Mission: Assess and verify Hindi audio content for cultural and linguistic accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessment of spoken Hindi and verify audio contents.
- Watch videos of content in Hindi and provide feedback.
- Collaborate with different teams to ensure culturally relevant and linguistically accurate assessments.
- Stay up to date with current trends in Hindi language, slang, formalities, and cultural nuances.
- Evaluate the use of virtual or avatar-based platforms to deliver or evaluate Hindi language content.
Requirements / Qualifications
Must-Have Qualifications
- Native-Level Proficiency: Native fluency in Hindi (i.e., born and raised in India speaking Hindi).
- Cultural Expertise: Deep understanding of cultural norms, traditions, and communication etiquette.
- Current Cultural Literacy: Up to date with modern Hindi trends, slang, idioms, and regional expressions.
- Audio Requirements: Ability to listen to and watch video content through headphones on a computer.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual Communication Skills: High proficiency in English to explain Hindi concepts clearly and effectively.
- Tech-Savviness: Comfortable using virtual platforms and digital tools for assessments or teaching.
