Position: Hindi-language Expert
Type: Independent Contractor
Compensation: $7–$11/hour
Location: Remote
Duration: 5 weeks (with potential extension)
Commitment: 10+ hours/week
Role Responsibilities:
- Review, evaluate, and refine AI-generated images and videos based on Hindi prompts for accuracy, relevance, and fluency.
- Provide linguistic and cultural feedback to improve model understanding.
- Identify and correct subtle linguistic and cultural nuances in AI-generated outputs.
- Experiment with Gemini and other multimodal AI tools to test prompt effectiveness and output quality.
- Document failure modes and inconsistencies to inform model refinement.
- Collaborate with AI researchers and engineers to enhance overall system behaviour.
Qualifications:
- Full professional fluency in Hindi and English.
- Strong reading and writing proficiency in both Hindi and Hinglish.
- Deep understanding of regional Hindi dialects, idioms, and expressions.
- Familiarity with Hindi and Indian cultural, social, and linguistic diversity.
- Awareness of current trends in Hindi and Indian media and popular culture.
- Interest in AI creativity tools and curiosity about how models interpret linguistic prompts visually.
- Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
