Data Analytics Researcher – $70/hr

Mercor is seeking highly skilled expert reviewers to support a leading AI research initiative focused on evaluating and improving large-scale text outputs. This short-term, remote opportunity involves critically reviewing written material to identify logical inconsistencies, inaccuracies, or unclear reasoning. Ideal candidates will have advanced academic training—preferably a PhD—and thrive in analytical, detail-oriented work.

Base pay range

$50.00/hr – $70.00/hr

Key Responsibilities

• Review large volumes of text for factual accuracy, coherence, and logical consistency
• Identify and annotate errors, contradictions, or unclear phrasing
• Provide concise feedback to guide iterative content refinement
• Maintain high accuracy and efficiency under tight deadlines

Ideal Qualifications

• PhD or advanced graduate degree in a relevant discipline (humanities, sciences, or engineering)
• Exceptional attention to detail and analytical reasoning ability
• Demonstrated experience in text analysis, research, or academic review
• Strong written communication and time management skills
