Merco are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a leading neurological care centre in Ipswich, currently seeking a passionate and experienced Service Manager to lead and develop a well-established specialist service. This is a unique opportunity for a values-led, dynamic leader with a strong background in delivering excellence in care, especially across services supporting individuals with complex medical needs and brain injuries. About the Service: This highly regarded care centre has been supporting individuals with brain injuries and neurological conditions for over 20 years. The service offers 26 residential beds alongside a 6-bed Level 2 rehabilitation unit. With a multidisciplinary in-house team that includes physiotherapists and occupational therapists, this centre is focused on personalised rehabilitation and recovery, helping people regain independence and meet their personal goals. The Role: As Service Manager, you will have full responsibility for the operational and strategic management of the service. You’ll lead a dedicated team and ensure the highest standards of care are delivered in line with CQC and other regulatory frameworks. You\’ll play a key role in driving forward quality improvement, person-centred care, and service innovation. You will: Provide strong leadership and hands-on support to your team Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure smooth service delivery Take accountability for performance management, staffing, and budgeting Work collaboratively with clinical leads and external agencies to maintain the highest care standards Ensure ongoing compliance with all relevant legislation and regulatory requirements About You To succeed in this role, you will have: QCF (NVQ) Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent At least 5 years’ experience managing registered care services In-depth knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance Experience working with complex medical needs and neurological conditions A valid UK Driving Licence What’s in it for you?
