Senior Occupational Therapist (Band 7 Equivalent) Empower Lives Through Specialist Neuro Care A well-established neurological care and rehabilitation service in Hitchin is seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist to join their compassionate, multi-disciplinary team. Based in a stunning historical setting, this service offers slow stream rehabilitation and long-term care for individuals with a variety of neurological conditions. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced OT with a creative, person-centred approach and a desire to lead and inspire others. The Role As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will: Deliver person-centred assessments and interventions within a multidisciplinary framework Develop therapeutic group programmes to meet diverse needs Lead a small team of therapy assistants and activities coordinators Work with service users with a broad range of neurological conditions Gain valuable experience in specialist equipment provision and seating Receive regular supervision, CPD support, and peer collaboration opportunities What You’ll Need Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy HCPC registration Evidence of CPD and professional development Ability to work independently and prioritise workloads Strong leadership and team-building skills Desirable: experience working in neurology, rehab, or a relevant clinical setting (including placements) What’s in it for you?
