As an Advanced Practitioner at our Client's Urgent Treatment Centre, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, timely care to patients with urgent medical needs.
Responsibilities
- Conducting assessments of patients presenting with minor illnesses and injuries.
- Making accurate diagnoses and formulating appropriate treatment plans.
- Prescribing medications and treatments according to clinical guidelines and protocols
- Collaborating closely with doctors, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and holistic care.
Qualifications
- Valid NMC/HCPC Registration
- Minor Injury/Illness Level 6 Minimum
- IRMER
- Independent Prescriber (Desirable)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as an Urgent/Advanced Practitioner in an urgent care, emergency department, or primary care setting.
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking skills, and the ability to work autonomously within a multidisciplinary team
- Shifts
- Available 7 days a week, booking up to 3 months in advance - various patterns available including:
- Mornings
- Long Days
- Afternoons/Evenings
- This role is in scope of IR35, so payments via PAYE or Umbrella only
