The Urgent Treatment Centre is a clinician-led service providing assessment and treatment for patients with urgent, non-life-threatening conditions. We are seeking an experienced Locum Urgent Care Practitioner with V300 independent prescribing experience in urgent/unplanned care. You will deliver safe, patient-centred face-to-face assessments for undifferentiated illness and injury, working autonomously within a supportive MDT.
Key details:
- Flexible locum shifts, 365-day service
- Shift times between 07:00 – 22:00
- Modernised UTC with on-site X-ray facilities
Essential requirements:
- Registered healthcare professional (NMC/HCPC)
- Minor Illness and Minor Injury qualifications as a minimum of Level 6 Non-Medical Prescriber (V300)
- Significant experience in urgent or emergency care
- See and treat all ages from 12 weeks and above
Desirable:
- IRMER training
- Fracture management skills
- Requesting plain film X-Rays
- ECG recording
- Advanced physical examination skills
