Locum Advanced Practitioners – Corby Urgent Care Centre
Merco Medical are currently looking for experienced Locum Advanced Practitioners (ACPs, ENPs, ECPs, ANPs) to join the team at Corby Urgent Care Centre, delivering high-quality, autonomous care in a busy and supportive urgent care setting.
Role Overview:
You’ll manage and treat a range of minor injuries and minor illnesses, supporting patients presenting with acute undifferentiated conditions. You’ll work autonomously, while also collaborating with the wider clinical team to ensure safe, efficient care.
You’ll also play a key role in clinical decision-making and may support triage processes during peak times.
Essential:
- NMC or HCPC registration
- Level 6 or 7 qualifications in Advanced Practice, Minor Illness, Minor Injury, and Clinical Decision Making
- Non-Medical Prescribing qualification (V300)
- Strong experience in urgent care, primary care, A&E, or OOH services
- Ability to work independently and confidently manage acute presentations
Desirable:
- MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice
Rates
- Up to £60p/h LTD
Shifts
The UTC is open 7 days a week, with shifts available between 8:00-21:00. These could be long days, or shorter shifts.
