We are looking for an experienced Senior Healthcare Assistant to join a specialist neurological care team based in Hitchin, Hertfordshire. This is a full-time, permanent role involving weekend and bank holiday shifts.
Please note: You must have a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care to apply.
About the Role:
- Provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to service users.
- Supervise, coach and mentor junior team members.
- Ensure a safe, clean and supportive environment.
- Promote the rights, choices and wellbeing of those in your care.
- Support compliance with all relevant policies, procedures and legislation.
Requirements:
- Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) β essential
- At least 2 years\β experience in a similar care setting
- Strong communication, leadership and teamwork skills
- Experience in coaching, mentoring and supporting others
- Computer literacy and numeracy
- Audit awareness and understanding of relevant competencies
Important: This location is not accessible by public transport β own transport required.
