We are looking for a Part-Time Area Manager to oversee several school cleaning sites during the morning period. The role involves supporting cleaning teams, maintaining clear communication with staff and management, and ensuring all sites meet company and client standards.

Responsibilities include delivering cleaning stock and equipment to sites, carrying out site audits, assisting with staff inductions, organising holiday and sickness cover, and supporting basic equipment maintenance. The Area Manager will also manage shift change requests, respond to day-to-day site issues, and help ensure smooth and reliable service delivery across all assigned locations.

The role requires someone who is organised, proactive and flexible, with the ability to respond to changing site needs and support teams where required. Occasional weekend work may be required depending on operational needs.

Requirements
  • Previous experience in cleaning, facilities management, or a supervisory role
  • Strong people skills, with the ability to support and manage teams across multiple sites
  • Patient, understanding and able to work with a diverse workforce
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Reliable, proactive and able to work independently
  • Flexible approach to work, including responding to shift changes and operational needs
  • Ability to organise staff cover for holidays and absences
  • Confident carrying out site audits and basic staff inductions
  • Basic understanding of health and safety and cleaning standards
  • Full UK driving licence preferred, as the role involves travelling between sites
  • Willingness to work occasional weekends if required
