Your Role
As a Field Service Engineer, you will be the technical backbone of our Life Science business.
Your role is crucial in ensuring our customers receive the highest quality service and support.
Here's a glimpse of your exciting responsibilities
- Installation & Commissioning: Expertly install and commission instrumentation, predominately lab water purification systems at various client sites, ensuring optimal performance from day one.
- Maintenance & Servicing: Perform regular maintenance and servicing to keep systems running smoothly, preventing downtime, and ensuring reliability.
- Repairs: Diagnose and repair any issues with precision and speed, minimizing disruptions for our clients
- Validation: Validate and calibrate equipment to ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
- Customer Support: Provide exceptional support and training to customers, empowering them to utilise our systems to their full potential.
- Travel: Enjoy a dynamic role with travel predominantly around the London area, offering new challenges and experiences every day.
Who you are
- Minimimum HNC or equivalent, in either an Engineering or Scientific discipline.
- Technical Expertise: Strong technical background in field service, particularly in lab equipment. Or, Minimum 2 year’s experience within a Lab environment.
- Problem Solving Skills: Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues efficiently.
- Customer focus: Excellent communication skills and customer-centric approach.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to travel and adapt to varying work environments.
- Team Player: Collaborative mindset and the ability to work independently.
- Experience: Previous field service experience is a plus, but not mandatory. Comprehensive training and onboarding will be provided.
- Generate leads for new hardware, consumables, accessories, and service contracts via the current CRM tool.
