Overview
In this field-based role, you will grow sales across the Discovery Solutions portfolio within the North-West of the UK, building strong customer relationships and delivering sustainable growth. You will serve as the primary contact for diverse stakeholders across labs, research, procurement and operations, providing consultative, customer-oriented solutions. You will coordinate field and office resources, manage account plans and pipelines, and strive to meet quarterly and annual growth targets. This position suits self-starting, collaborative professionals who want to drive customer success and commercial results in a science-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Grow and develop sales across Discovery Solutions (Biology & Chemistry) portfolio
- Own key accounts in the North-West of the UK (Manchester & Liverpool)
- Build relationships with Lab Managers, Technicians, Researchers, QC Analysts, Procurement, Logistics and Sustainability teams
- Provide customer-oriented, consultative solutions to help customers achieve goals
- Coordinate support across field and office-based specialist teams
- Track activity, share account knowledge, manage account plans and pipelines
- Deliver against quarterly and annual growth targets
Key requirements
- Scientific degree or equivalent experience
- Previous field sales experience in a similar industry
- Strong account planning, pipeline management and commercial awareness
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Self-starting, proactive attitude
