We are recruiting a field-based POM-V Account Manager to join our Ruminant team covering the Central and East England Region. With over a century of experience, we have been developing medicines and vaccines for some of the world's most challenging diseases. As a leading global pharmaceutical company, we are dedicated to advancing health solutions and improving the prevention and treatment of diseases for people and animals worldwide.

In this field-based role, you will be responsible for the sales and market development of our ruminant portfolio within the Central and East England territory.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to increase market share and stimulate market growth for the ruminant portfolio.
  • Collaborate with veterinary practices and agricultural trade businesses to drive business growth and establish strong partnerships.
  • Identify and target key accounts, cultivating relationships and driving business development within these designated accounts.
  • Achieve regional sales targets within budget and in alignment with the overall business unit strategy.
Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of the veterinary and agricultural sectors, specifically the ruminant Animal Health industry. Alternatively, experience in the human pharma or medical devices sectors would be considered.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with a diverse range of individuals, including veterinarians, trade customers, and farmers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely.
  • Demonstrated adaptability and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships, and the persistence to drive results.
