Job DescriptionThe Associate Marketer (AM) is part of a diverse team of relevant subject matter experts and should be responsive to the business needs to support the implementation of the UK strategic & tactical plan. They will work across multiple indications at different stages of the product lifecycle within the Oncology Business Unit. The AM will report into the Strategic Marketing Lead.

Key activities: Activities are likely to include: Understand the needs of our customer base; information requirements, format, channel preference and influencersWork with the Marketing team and Centralised Digital Marketing team to interpret insights and develop operational brand plans with omnichannel customer engagement plansBuild therapeutic and product knowledgeAdopt the L3 Next framework to ensure consistent planning with robust analysis and execution of campaigns aligned to strategyLead responsibility of marketing-led customer-centric campaigns, ensuring delivery against strong KPIs and performance measuresWork with the cross-functional team to ensure delivery on operational plansWork with Agile principles and support the cross-functional team to achieve this effectivelyProvide innovation through testing new marketing channels, new types of content and new channel execution strategiesManage the ABPI certification of content via the Medical-Legal approval processAgency managementCampaign budget managementKey capabilities – ability to: Collaborates effectively with others to achieve shared goals, including ability to work with specialist functions, e.g. Sales, Medical Affairs, Corporate Affairs, Centralised Digital Marketing and Strategic InsightsApply strategic thinking and planning frameworks to build effective operational plansDevelop content and implement channel activities aligned to the delivery of operational plansStrong planning and organisation skillsEmbrace a growth mindset, utilising a test and learn approach to develop and refine customer engagement strategies, tactics, measurable deliverables and ROIAbility to digest complex clinical information and interpret its relevance to UK marketCreate and analyse insights to better understand the value we can deliver to patients and oncology communitiesCommitted to understanding and meeting customer needsCommunicates confidently - strong verbal, written and presentation skillsAbility to lead without authorityEthics and integritySkills & ExperienceEssentialBachelor's degree or equivalent experienceExperience in pharmaceutical, healthcare or related marketing rolesStrong analytical, organisational and project management skillsWorking knowledge of the ABPI Code of PracticeDesirableExperience or exposure within Oncology therapy areasRequired
