We have an exciting opportunity for an Associate Scientist 2 to join our Clearance Services Team on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. The role supports the viral clearance team in designing and delivering regulatory‑compliant virus clearance studies under the oversight of the Study Director and in collaboration with Process Scientists.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine tasks to support GLP/GMP operations.
- Ensure laboratories and equipment are maintained in a validated state.
- Support the design and delivery of regulatory‐compliant virus clearance studies.
- Work on a shift rota of Early (7 am–3 pm), Days (9 am–5 pm) and Lates (times flexible based on client needs).
Qualifications
- HND or higher qualification in Biological Sciences or a related subject.
- 1+ year of relevant experience working in a biological laboratory, preferably in a regulated environment (GLP/GMP).
- Computer literacy and experience entering data into databases.
- Ability to complete documentation neatly and accurately.
- Ability to work effectively with a team.
- Willingness to work overtime and flexible shifts to cover testing requirements.
